Booking a holiday

We have a wedding to attend in Oct 2026 in Greece. Would it be wise to wait untill baby is due in May to book or should we book now and then add on baby once they’re here? Not sure what the best way around it is. I don’t want to lose the child free space and would deffo help to start paying now 🥴 what’s your thoughts? What would you do!

I’ve booked a holiday for us and baby for September 2026, just so I have plenty of time to pay it off. You can add baby on now (depending who you book with, I’m with TUI) and add their details once baby is here. X

Depends on the airline I suppose. Ryanair lets you add a child in lap to an existing booking so no problem at all. If it's a different airline you may want to check their FAQ :) x

I’m due beginning of May. I’d like to go away on holiday around September time. But am going to wait and see. I personally would wait till baby is here - you still have 5 mths.

I booked a holiday for September and you can add a baby that’s not born yet by putting ‘baby X’ (well I know that’s the case with TUI and easyJet!) but easy to google if other airlines do too. You just call up after the baby’s born and update their name and DOB

Most companies don’t charge for children under 2 years so you should still get the free place anyway. If you book now just book the baba on and then add their details when they’re born
