I tried to have sex with my husband last night for the first time since our baby was born. He’s 9 weeks old and I a vaginal birth with 3rd degree stitches. We used lube but had to stop because it hurt so badly! When will it hurt less 🙈🤯

I’m 9 weeks postpartum and had episiotomy done and stitches in three layers, two days ago tried sex For the first time, completely numb inside couldn’t enjoy it at all as I didn’t feel anything but pain and I got a small tear 🫠
Wait a little longer? 3rd degree tears sounds ouch. Rest up! Lots of lube and foreplay when you try again

I believe it’s one of those things where you gotta keep going at it, your body has been stitched back together it’s gotta learn to stretch again. I’m 6 weeks pp and need 2 internal and for me the first time hurt like hell, but the second time once I got past the entry it was much better. Just take things real slow and a lot of foreplay
