I felt so neglected by manor, I ended up with sepsis because "we don't have a bed". I was in there for days on IV antibiotics afterwards
Me too. Had a C-section yesterday. They used things in have allergies to. Baby and I have infection because they made us wait after my water broke. Now taken them 12 hours to get a blood test ultrasound x
Mine was awful too, I had twins and gave birth naturally then had a c section for twin 2. I kept telling the midwife I needed to push and she kept telling me I didn’t and would walk out the room after I kept telling her I was going to start pushing, my mom was there and demanded she checked, she finally did and went into pure panic as I needed multiple drs and midwives there as they were premature and twins. I then got rushed off for a c section as there were complications with twin 2. When I woke up from my c section there was no staff around and I had no idea what was happening. Someone eventually came to me and told me I couldn’t see my twins until the next day as I wouldn’t get up and walk straight after birth&c section?! They then did a shift change and they didn’t even know I was in a recovery room so no one attended to me for 4 hours, I had no clue where my babies were or even if they were alive, luckily the new staff were lovely and took me straight to see them.
They also didn’t tell me they stitched my vagina up whilst I was having my c section (I didn’t even know I had torn) until I went to have sex and there were still stitches there that hadn’t dissolved 🫣🫣
Yes, I feel you, I gave birth to my first there and had nightmares after. Granted some of it was out of their control (due to complications during birth) but some of it was definitely their fault. Unfortunately, I'm giving birth to my second there any day now.
