Positive or evaporation line?

I'm not sure whether to take this as a positive test or not it was from last night and then this morning negative. The positive was a little darker last night but still faint

These tests are the worst for evap lines 😩 did the line show up at all when first tested or only this morning once it had been sat out overnight? Due to the thickness of the line (not matching the control line), I would say it's likely an evap line, unfortunately.

@Chloe it showed up last night and was abit darker and then it was like this in the morning I just wanted sure as I'm having symptoms and have had symptoms for like a month

I would maybe try a different brand of tests with red dye or even the clearblue cross ones, which show a horizontal and vertical line. I'm sure I can see a very faint line on the bottom test, too, but it's so hard to tell in a photo 🙈

Id take it as an evaporation line. Retest with a red dye test (it's what doctors use) with the first morning urine when the HCG levels are highest.

Try the digital ones hun, I found it so difficult to tell and used a digital to confirm x

It does a little bit of colour, it does look positive to me but these tests are rubbish. A more sensitive pink dye would be better - are you late? When did you ovulate? It's likely too early to pick up on a digital if it is a true positive

@Kate I had some bleeding for 4 days which my period is normally 7 and I've been having symptoms of pregnancy for nearly a month now

If you've been having symptoms for a month then you'd expect the line on that test to be solid/stronger if it was positive.

Defo evap line. If you was pregnant it would show straight away

I think the top one is positive, it’s not colourless like an evap line usually

Thanks girls I'm gonna wait a few days and then test again with a red dye one
