Stitches
Anyone else who has stitches I'm 9days PP and I feel my vagina is like throbbing if that makes sense. Does it mean stitches are healing? Will get midwife to check tomorrow but thought would ask if normal?

Mine were like that and I found wearing bottoms really uncomfortable. I ended up going to triage and there was an infection, I’ve just finished the antibiotics for it and now I’ve got this gel stuff to put on.
Iv had mine checked multiple times (now 5 weeks pp) as I’m still hurting (totally understand the throb) and the doctors have just said I’m still healing 😭 I kept reading everywhere online it should be healed by now but doctors said everyone is different.
Mine was like this. It was so painful I was prescribed codine phosphate but no infection. Definitely get it checked though to make sure no infection. I’m now 4 weeks pp and it’s mostly better but still tender. I think just after 2 weeks the intense pain stopped

Mine definitely felt like that for a while, but I can't tell you if it means they're healing or not as I'm 4 weeks PP and genuinely not sure if mine have healed well. I'm waiting for mine to be checked as soon as my doctor can fit me in!
