Baby taking less milk!

Is anyone else’s 4 month old taking much less milk than usual? My little boy used to take 180-200ml at every feed and all of a sudden is taking 110-160ml and then refusing the bottle and getting angry. I’ve tried everything to make him take more but he just spits it out! He’s quite a big boy but I’m concerned about him becoming dehydrated? Not sure if it’s linked to teething or 4 month regression? Help please!

No advice but mine is the same

They can drink less if sore gums/teething but as long as producing a good or similar amount of wet and dirty nappies, likely getting enough. But any concerns or worries, follow your instincts as you know your baby best ❤️

Mine is exactly the same.

After how many hours is your LO taking 110-160 ml.

@Tenzin about 3-3.5 hours x

Yeah we are experiencing the same thing 🙄 but he’s happy otherwise so I’m just rolling with it

It can be really normal at this point but have you also tried increasing the tear size?

Mine is the same! But I think its just a phase part of growing. I spoke to the health visitor and she said its fine as long as baby is drinking milk they know how much they need

@Ceri-Ann I’ve gone out and bought the next size up this morning x

My LO drinks 90-150ml in 3 hours during the day and one feed at night. Making a total of around 800sml and my health visitor said that’s ok. He seems ok in himself.
