If your toddler is potty trained, how long are they going between wee’s when out the house?

I only ask as my daughter is just over 2 weeks into training (she’s doing amazing!) but when we’re out, I’m sticking her on travel potty every 40 mins or so, so she doesn’t have an accident. She’s started to tell me when she needs a wee at home, although most of the time I’m prompting beforehand anyway. I know she won’t self initiate consistently yet, hence lots of prompting in these early days, but I’m just wondering how long others leave between wee try’s when they’re out the house. Thank you x

We only ask him when we get to the new place, or just before we're leaving. If he looked like he needed a wee, I'd prompt him too. I reckon once an hour is a good guide if they haven't asked or shown signs. The longest we've been out is 2 hours so far and he went for a wee when we got to the cafe as I asked him and then didn't need to go again until we got home

Varies. Anything from 90 mins to 4 1/2 hours!

2-4 hours

Probably on average around 1.5-2 hours but I know she can cope much longer if she has to. Sometimes especially if she’s had a lot to drink, she’ll go 2 or 3 times in an hour or less, she does absolutely chug water though 😂 we try to take her/remind her around every hour and a half or so, and then also take her when she asks too.
