Aggressive baby 😣

All babies go through this . Babies are testing things , they normally do not hurt themselves by doing that . When babies hurt you best thing is not to react as much as possible and practice gentle hands with . If my baby hurts me in any way I stop them and calmly say no hitting, bitting Nd then hold their hand and gently rub the area that was hit and say gentle hands . And show on them what gentle is. Consistency and no reactions have worked for us my baby rarely hurts me .

My girl is the same, I think it’s just an exploration thing but she took a chunk out of the inside of my lip last week and it bled. I’m trying to teach her that we don’t hit and pull hair, we use kind hands. She’s yet to get it with me but she’s nailed it with the dog. She used to try to pull her ears and fur but she’s so gentle with her now. Don’t get me wrong, I’d never fully trust her with the dog alone (my whippet is almost 10, been brilliant around all the family babies and wouldn’t hurt a fly) purely for that fact I would ever want to put my dog in a position where she feels uncomfortable. I’m thinking if she can be ‘gentle and kind’ to the dog then she will soon understand that applies to people too. It’s all new and they’re just learning about the world they’re living in. It’s our job to teach them so just keep explaining that it’s not okay and showing her how to be gentle instead ☺️ xx

@Elena hehe my girl used to do that too when I was putting her down to sleep. Once I ended up with a proper nose bleed as she must have cut a vein in my nose or something 😂😂 but now she is just constantly so violent, like all day and night. Going for other babies too on the sensory class 😂
