@Callie that is also exercise!! We can only do our best haha. She was just being judgy. I walked away from the appointment thinking… 🖕🏼
I swam during my first 4ish months but then the ligament pains got the best of me. Since then all I’ve been doing is walking my dog each day 😄🤷♀️
Wow an hour's walking a day is good! Some days I've only been able to get a 20 min walk in as I've been too busy doing other things 😅 trying my best to fit in some yoga or pilates each day too even if it's only 10 min. I'm sure you're doing enough with an hour's walk lovely, it's deffo better than nothing! 💕
This lady has some good exercise vids that don't take up too much time ☺️ https://youtube.com/@pregnancyandpostpartumtv?si=4x0L5T-GzWuHPxr3
I quite literally walk to the corner shop (5 minutes down the road) and back every day for more chocolate… I think you’re smashing it by doing an hour a day!
I walk from my sofa to the fridge and back again.. sometimes I do a little dance while I decide what to demolish….. that’s it 🙂
@Lauren this is me to a t!!! A walk back and forth to the toilet throughout the night and maybe a midnight snack!
An hour walk a day is brilliant!! 👏🏻 I did a lot of exercise pre-pregnancy.. so have reduced a lot but might seem a lot to some people. I also find I get hip pain/ body aches when I don’t exercise. Exercise helps with the pains 🙏🏻 I do: • walking most days (30min-1hour) • swimming 2-3 x a week • pregnancy yoga x1 a week • Zumba fortnightly • gym (weights) 2-3 x a week I always make sure to listen to my body and lower the intensity if I’m not feeling it. I also have 1-2 rest days per week.
I don’t do anything other than chasing around after my toddler!
I barely move. Walking to the shop and back makes my back ache and just doing housework is knackering I don't think I would have the energy for anything else right now. So to walk an hour a day is incredible.
I consider being able to get out of bed and do a few tasks round the house exercise so your midwife would absolutely hate me 😅 I’ve had severe PGP and sciatica since 14 weeks which has rendered me basically in pain 24/7. I aim to do 20 mins on my pregnancy ball but don’t always get that as my fatigue has now really kicked in again.
