I did it religiously… and sustained a 4th degree tear 🙈

I didn’t bother and had no stitches

I’ve been doing it and I’ve used the peri prep your bits from my expert midwife x

I used lubricant gel, didn't tear both time but I can't guarantee it's because of the massage or just got lucky.. also when the baby head crown, you should stop pushing for few seconds to allow your skin to stretch and push slowly. The baby head might come back in and out again ,allowing your skin to stretch. Hope this helps

I heard virgin coconut oil is good

I used Lansinoh organic oil with my first. Will be using it for my second xx
