15 month old has started crying her eyes out when she is dropped at nursery. She never did this before but has began getting super upset at drop off. Help super guilty mum here.

If she wasn’t like that and the suddenly is, I would investigate a bit more.

I was told it’s normal behaviour. My little girl goes 2 days per week and never used to get upset. She’s been in a bit of a clingy stage recently so she’s been crying on drop off but she’s fine as soon as I leave. If her Dad drops her off she doesn’t cry! The other day when she started to get upset, I stayed with her for a bit and sat her down at the breakfast table etc and she soon got distracted and was fine! X

Mine is exactly the same. If I leave her anywhere anywhen, even walking out of the room, she screams and has proper tears. This includes bedtime. I don't know how you're supposed to resolve it but I hope when she realises I will come back she will grow out of it x

@Denise it’s a pretty normal developmental stage to have separation anxiety… doesn’t mean something nefarious is happening…

@Taylor well… that’s your point of view..

@Denise just doesn’t seem necessary to freak someone out when it’s genuinely likely to be a developmental leap…

@Taylor I’m not freaking her out, maybe I am freaking you out by having a different opinion. Leave me alone, we all have different opinions! BYE!!

@Denise you’re posting in a public forum. If you don’t like dialogue, get a diary. Stop acting like I’m attacking you.
