It depends on your protocol if you’re doing a natural cycle or medicated. I did a fully medicated cycle. CD 1 was January 1 and had my transfer February 10. For my cycle I was on birth control for about 2 weeks then started estrogen when I stopped the birth control. After labs and lining check, I added PIO and a progesterone suppository. I am 3dpt and still on all progesterone and estrogen. Hopefully that helps a little!
We just recently had an FET for our second, which we also had an FET for our first (who is now 15m) and protocol was similar to before. Depending on medicated or not, and what types of medication, it can be anywhere from 3-8 weeks from cd1 to transfer date. We did end up having to do 3 cycles this time around with the third one having some protocol changes (dr added in Lupron to try and suppress something causing fluid pockets in my lining), but I just tested yesterday and it came back positive so looks like it worked :)
I just did my FET 2 days ago. Depends on if its medicated or not. For me, I had a medicated FET. CD1 was January 22nd, I started estrace (estrogen) on CD1, have to take it 3 times a day. Had my pre-op appt on 2/5. Started pio shots (progesterone) on 2/6. And had FET on 2/11.
I did a natural cycle for both my FET’s. It’s follows your body’s monthly cycle. So you go for monitoring scans from around day 8-10 and then depending on lining / follicle size they keep monitoring every couple of days until they are at an optimal size. Then you test at home for a lh surge. Your transfer will be 6 days after the surge. I took added progesterone, but this was optional. No other meds involved for me.
I don’t remember how much our medications cost. I had estrogen patches, PIO, and Lupron injections. My cycle started the end of January and i started birth control. FET was March 15 I’m in the US
Can’t give advice as we’ve only just started our own FET process after we had our 2.5 year old in 2022. I have my consultation and scan booked for the beginning of next month. Just wanted to say good luck! 🥰
