Screaming a lot
Hi,
My little one is screaming at childminders a lot, she constantly needs to be with an adult. She’s only been there a few week but is anyone else baby like this? As soon as she is picked up she’s fine but when she’s left with to play she screams and it doesn’t stop, she is like that at home too (maybe our mistake for picking her up all the time) but that’s stopped now. We do let her cry but does it get better?? Worried that childminder is going to say that we are going to have to look for another setting.

Going through something similar with our little girl. She started at childminders 5 weeks ago, and we are told that she is grumpy and “rages” a lot. It’s hard to hear as that’s not our experience of her. She definitely “rages” at times, but usually she just needs a cuddle or something to eat/drink and then she’s fine again. I feel for her as it’s a bit change, and then she’s been sick almost constantly since she started and has been teething. Our childminder said they get this sometimes and some kids can take longer to settle in so hoping it gets better soon!

What date was she born? My little girl is 11 months today and was like this when she started 5 weeks ago, it lasted 4 weeks and they've mentioned how this week, she's like a different baby, so I'm wondering if it could be developmental x
