Routine Changes

Hi moms how you doing, I am first time to be a mom just one month and two weeks so everything is changed now I used to be active that I was Zumba instructor, I was working out a lot most of my time I spent in the gym and am working to but this time just am staying home with my baby playing with her, changing diapers and feed her but it’s not enough for me that keeps me active like before even I can’t go outside because of the weather so mothers what you recommend me to stay active at home ?

YouTube! Sounds like you like Zumba, so take a look at Zumba sulu and fit with Rick. Both offer free videos on YouTube or have a paid service through their website.

And if you have a baby carrier, you can strap the baby on and dance your heart away. We’re even look for other routine routines specifically with a carrier

If you are only 6 weeks postpartum I would check with your care provider first what kind of activity you can do safely. I am still pregnant but my midwife recommended YouTube channel mamastefit with pre and postpartum exercises, it’s created by certified nurse and midwife and should be safe for mamas in their first postpartum weeks I think

@Sally and when you’re ready and feel comfortable, there are many fitness classes for you and baby. I know the ones in Mississauga that offer yoga, Zumba, circuit training. All the while, having your baby with you in the same room. I’m sure they offer that in Toronto too

@Stephanie I checked out places but I can’t get a place near me I leave in Toronto around downtown

There’s not a lot downtown but Altea gym has a babysitting service so you can drop baby off and work out or do a class. In the spring/summer there’s a group called mighty moms that does outdoor park workouts with moms and babies
