pick up put down method
mummas who have done the pick up put down method. how did you find it? how long until it becomes effective? I know its longer than ferber but struggle to just leave my baby.

@Emily thank you. I think im going to try it but know its all about consistency. was your baby already standing in the cot when you did this?
@Emily did you do this for every night wake or just bedtime?
No, not standing yet but is very nearly crawling so when I go into his room he’s often on all 4s rocking back and forth! 😅
@Tammie I tried my best to do it (84 night wakes too… sometimes I was too exhausted in the middle of night so ended up putting him in our bed but now he won’t sleep with us at all and seems to love his cot!

I found it worked really well as my baby trusted I’d always be there when he did need me and now he loves his cot! I had a few weeks where I’d have to pick up/ put down about 6 times so could take 40 mins but now he goes straight down!
