@Ashleigh my midwife is aware and the consultant I’m under but they are been told the same as me honestly never been as fed up 🙈
Mines said if I haven’t heard by 10 days before the expected due date to call the delivery suite… Surely if they’ve said you can’t deliver vaginally they should be more on this. Whether that be delivering at a different hospital?
I would call another hospital. And explain to them cus that baby going to come out one way or another .
Oh dear, what has happened to this country! This is an awful situation and you don’t deserve to be made to feel this stress so soon before delivering your baby! Otherwise if you go into labour, the hospital will admit you and emergency c-section will be done, so that’s something that hopefully can put you at ease a little. They owe you duty of care. Is there anyone who will support you if you go into labour before having been given a c-section date?
I wasn't given a date straight away I was told that they were working out a date and I signed forms and everything but wasn't sure what was going on because I was on bed rest for three weeks in hospital I got transferred from my antenatal appointment to the hospital due to have preclamcia when I was 34 or 36 weeks so I'm not sure I think that they should try and work something out for you if you can't give birth naturally and they should be onto it straight away but I do know they can't do c section untill your at a certain date in your pregnancy to make it safe for baby and mother I hope you get the help you need 🙏❤️🙏❤️
Doesn't seem right that you haven't been given a date but don't worry about going into labour naturally, you'll be done as an emergency c section in that scenario!
Seems obvious but have you told your midwife? I’d get her to pester them for you as well! How frustrating for you, I can understand your stress!
