SO MY BABIES DID THAT AT HER AGE FOR ME IT'S NORMAL. BUT I'M NOT SURE CAUSE MY BABIES TURNED OUT TO BE AUTISTIC

Is that a pacifier? Maybe she is looking for it?

Some babies will rub their head back and forth to self sooth!

Turning their head back and forth like that is self soothing! Totally normal!

Yes, a lot of babies do that to self-soothe.

Yeah I mean I’d ask her doctor whenever you go next but I think it’s normal. What is that in her bed?

It's normal babies seem to do that as a self soothing or just because they like the feeling my babe did it all the time and she still does sometimes she's 16months

It’s a self soothing technique, very common. I’m an infant sleep coach, and it’s something we learn about in training. My son still does it now at 7 months, if at all concerned, reach out your doctor or other health professionals depending where you are ☺️

@Gabrielle the black circle? It's a projector (cordless) it projects light patterns onto her ceiling but was turned off

My son’s autistic and he did this as a baby, keep an eye on it! If you google it it’ll just say it’s self soothing but only time will tell

She might be self soothing, or trying to work out what her head is rubbing against above her right shoulder

Looks like self soothing, they usually grow out of it. My daughter only did it for about a month but gave herself a bald spot during this time xx

Yes, self soothing

Do you rock your baby to sleep? My baby does this and it’s only when he wakes up and it’s almost like he’s trying to rock himself back to sleep. He also does this when he’s tired xx
