We don't celebrate valentines day, mainly because our anniversary is a few days later.
My man cares and no he didn't get me anything. We don't celebrate, but it's not due to religious purposes.
I mean he got me a shake at McDonald's but he got laid off cuz his company went under so it was sweet of him to still think of me and I baked him cookies so it was small but fun and warm
My husband works in restraunts so normally no. This is the 6th valentines we've had together and we got to go out because hes on paternity leave 😂 normally he draws me a card every year and writes a little love note on the back
He got me and my daughter flowers. And very rarely we go out now so we are using it as an excuse for a babysitter and act like kids again😁🤣. He knows he doesn’t have to get anything for me because him being home with us is more important and shows he cares by being home and looking after us.

Same thing as @Jayde but this year my car decided to die on the 13th so we did get a new vehicle but it’s not a gift it was a need for us .

@Jayde I didn’t want the car payment 🤣 my car was paid off . He’ll be using the new truck for work

We got a babysitter so we could visit our twins in the NICU together and taco bell on the way back. We had a nice time being together

Our daughters birthday is the day after Valentine’s Day, and she’s just turned 1 so he said he didn’t want to ‘overshadow’ that 😂 he just didn’t want to do anything. We usually do a card but honestly this year I’m so exhausted with going back to work and our girly turning 1 that I couldn’t care less!
