@Cara I thought about moving back to Texas. I’m right next door to it. I actually want to take my kids to New York for new years!! And I love Vegas! Been to Cali multiple times as well. Girl I just don’t know where to go
No idea how it is this time of year but I love gulf shores! We have gone in May and Sept beautiful both times. Going again in Sept!

There was more to do in May but less crowded in Sept. We went for our honeymoon in sept 2022 the first time and picked an oceanfront condo in lighthouse, tons of stuff in walking distance! so we booked the same one in 2024 for the may trip and loved it. I'm bummed our condo is no longer available to rent so we are looking at another for this Sept in the same building
You've been to a lot of great places! I usually figure out what I want to do first. Like museums? National park? Skiing? Water sports? Food/restaurants? I went to New Orleans for Christmas and it was gorgeous. Husband really wanted Cajun food, so that helped pick it.
@Steffani I’m going to look into it some more. My birthday is in September but my twins birthday is in July!! So that might be somewhere I most definitely take them because they love playing in water. It’s crazy because I needed somewhere to take them this year because their first birthday was a mess
@Cara oh yes! And I thought about going to Mardi Gras since I’m here in Louisiana but I have no one to go with and it’s going to be really crowded to be walking by myself like that. But I love eating and water sports. I just never have anyone to do anything with lol so I’m doing this stuff by myself

There's a lot of fun stuff in Tennessee! Memphis is good Pigeon forge is also of interest, with Dollywood
@Jasmine I use to live in Nashville and never had the chance to go to Pigeon Forge and several other places. I might think about that
@Elizabeth oh yeah. I used to live there. Just never had the chance to experience other cities besides Memphis and Nashville
I'm from New England and there's so many things to do up there! I live in Texas now, and we are going to Galveston in a few months. New York city is fun but you need more than a weekend. Vegas is an experience if you've never been!
