Yes it makes sense. Having a baby is a huge change to the dynamic. The sleep deprivation doesn't help either. Having regular check ins help and making sure both partners feel that they are having equal opportunity to rest.
My husband and I were like this, especially for the first six months of our daughter’s life. It’s completely normal. You’re getting into the swing of being parents which is new to you both, you’re both learning and probably both exhausted! Before my daughter, we never bickered so I found it quite sad that we ended up that way, but she’s now nearly two and we’re completely out the other side! About to have baby number 2 in six weeks however 🥲
Yes, my fiance and i were literally best friends before the baby and we barely even argued. Now it seems like it's all we do :(
Yep we bicker and have had a few big arguments but we always talk about it after when we have calmed down and work it out. It’s rough on a relationship having kids but I do also love it when I see my husband with our children, it’s made me love him even more 🥰
I think it's a common thing
