MyChart help

Hi does anyone else use MyChart? This is my first time. They have my name wrong. They used my maiden name and not my married name which needs to be corrected in order for insurance billing and referral since I’m on my husband’s tricare. And they got my due date wrong! It’s supposed to be May 31st not May 3rd. I have my first appt for the anatomy scan on Wednesday and idk what to do because I don’t want to get billed if they have the wrong information especially with Tricare Prime being so strict. I’ve sent a message on the app but I doubt they’ll check it in time for my appt. I’ll call tomorrow but I literally won’t fill out any of the documents until they fix my name. So annoyed about this. 🙄

If the insurance denies it unfortunately you have to just call the number on the medical bill when you receive it and ask to rebill once the ob changes the incorrect info. You can rebill up to 2 times. Ive had to do that with medicaid due to they wont approve you before they have proof of pregnancy. Its super annoying and time consuming but easy to deal with.

The hospital I use utilizes MyChart…it took an act of congress for them to change my last name to my husbands last name. I provided them with my mil ID in person right before an appointment and they got it changed for me, granted it took talking to 3 different people at the check in desk about it before they did it

If There is an information desk at the hospital you are going to. You can let them know about the issue and show them your mychart account. I had a similar issue with getting on mychart. I had to speak to the front office where my appt was and let them know what the issue was. They can fix it for you

I think you should call your doctor front desk as i don’t remember that i added this informations and they are right in my account maybe your doctor front desk submitted wrong information

Agree I would call doctors office usually they can help change things or guide you what to do
