Hungry baby milk

Thinking about switching my little one’s milk over to hungry baby milk.. we currently use the Aldi mamia milk which is great but she’s going through a tub every 5 days (she’s 8weeks old) the tub says babies her age should be having 5 bottles in a 24hr period… my little one currently gets 5oz every 3 hours and her bottle before bed is a 6oz… she’s still waking during the night every 4 hours for a feed aswell. Has anyone else had experience with this? I’m exhausted and beginning to feel a bit drained

Hey mama I am board certified in infant & toddler. So I just did some research because I've never personally heard of mamia formula, however Aldi has discontinued this formula. They are currently selling out of what they have. Target up & up formula is comparable in price, if cost is an issue you could also apply for WIC which covers all formula types if needed. If there's no allergy, try a different formula- if this is because your LO is hungry often & that's why you're trying mamia I'm sorry lol 😅 looks like they won't be returning to shelves & id presume there's an investigation to why internally. Have you considered 6oz every 3 hours day time to see if this may help her not be so hungry? But also.. infants will need an overnight feeding up into 3 or 4 months typically, sometimes even up to 5mo of age (that's more dependent on environmental factors like preterm birth etc) My last idea is checking the nipple size, if its taking baby 15 to 20 min I'd try to get down to 10 min.

I tried hungry baby milk with my first but it really messed with his tummy, made him really constipated and in pain also. With my second I didn’t bother and the health visitor said they don’t like hungry baby because of how thick it is etc and does usually cause problems xx

Also a tub every 5 days sounds about right. My son used to go through them every 4 days x
