Planned C-section date
For anyone that has already had their date for a section how did you get this? Was it by letter or did they give you a date in person at an appointment?
I’ve got my 32 week scan in a couple of weeks and just wondered if the consultant will give me a date then for c section if the placenta hasn’t moved or if I’ll have to wait longer to get it

Thank you. I have placenta previa and it’s completely covering, hadn’t moved when I went for another scan at 28 weeks so I don’t think it will. Good luck! X
@Amy probably not. Mine is entirely covering too... If it hasn't moved by now it will be almost impossible for it to move at this point
@Julia I’ve accepted it now and just want to be given a date so I can plan for it. Hopefully I’ll get one after the 32 scan like you did

After my 32 weeks scan I was seen by the consultant who confirmed placenta previa and gave me a date. My baby will come in 2 weeks. If you have placenta previa they'll likely give you a date between 37 and 38 weeks. I had two bleeds so for me it will be 37+0.
