Piercings

Unfortunately for me I was having a few issues with my piercing before I was far long in my pregnancy so I ended up taking it out. I ended up breastfeeding my daughter for over a year and she definitely did not like nursing on the side that had the piercing as much as the other side. I think the milk flow was slower so since she didn’t feed too well on that side, I often got clogged ducts! I don’t think that will happen for everyone of course but that was my experience

i took mine out to breastfeed. i was sad to part w them but i have gotten them redone in the past so i can do it again in the future if i want

i wouldn’t recommend bf with them in from experiences i have heard from friends

Everybody's different, but my twin sister, who had her piercings for over a year, took them out for her to breastfeed, and she's still able to put piercings through

@Mia I don’t plan on latching baby with them in. I just plan on keeping them sterilized & replacing them after feedings or pumping.

sounds like you’re leaking colostrum, which isn’t quite the same as your milk. taking the piercings in and out between each feed sounds like a lot of extra work lol i’d just let them go for now

@Izzie 😂😂My mom said the same thing! She’s like just let em go! It’s easy for her to say, she’s gotten them redone 5 times.

Nope. Took them out and BF for 3yrs and never put them back in. My belly tongue and Isabella are all still there though so I do have 3 running down the middle of my body 😂🙈

@Yé are they the only ones? I can let it go coz I have others 🙈 you can always do it again later if it closes. I’ve repeirced my tongue 3* myself I keep swallowing the ball lol

@Kellie I do have others. I have a septum, double nose piercing, frog eyes on the tongue & I used to have belly but it rejected multiple times☹️
