Evening screaming

My son is 8 months old and the evening screaming is driving me mad. From his bed time onwards he wakes and screams till given a boob like nothing works to soothe him he is my third baby so every trick I have just doesn't work. He will literally scream for hours until it's been so long he is hungry again! Anyone else have this and equally frustrated and no idea what to do! I don't want to do cry it out but he screams evening being held and rocked. Any advice welcome one exhusted mum here 🫠

We've been at it for 7 weeks now and I have no idea when it'll end. I wasn't this tired even when my boy was a newborn 🙃 I feel like even sleep training won't work because he'll just scream until he's sick.

He slept well as a newborn too @Julia since 4 months old it's been awful but I'm so at a loss of what to do me and my partner just spend the evening with screaming taking turns trying to sooth him so we have no time together in the evening either now. I know it will gwt better but it's so hard when you're stuck in it!

I get it, 100%! My boy is also extremely clingy during the day so I can't get any work done ( I'm back at work now), so need to work after his bedtime. This means my partner constantly goes in to sooth him in the evening, so he doesn't get any time for himself after work and I'm just stressed because I can hear him crying but need to work. I know it's a phase but at the moment it feels like it'll never end.
