Buggy dilemma!

What do I do about a buggy now the new baby is coming in July and will have a 2.5 year old?! I had an Uppababy vista for my first one which I love and you can double it up but u don’t really like the bassinet on the bottom thing. Plus my girl is not loving her buggy at the minute. Considering a buggy board too perhaps. This may be enough to entice her. We were going to get her a lightweight stroller just before I found out I was pregnant and now I’m totally confused as to what to do! Anyone in a similar situation with a plan?

I’ll be reusing my mamas and papas Occaro and getting a buggy board for my toddler. He hasn’t used the pushchair in a long time anyway, usually walks or goes on his bike so the buggy board will just be for long trips

I’ll be getting a buggy board for my 3 year old. Not sure if he’ll use it as he prefers to walk anyway but I think he’ll like the option of a ride. We haven’t used his push chair for ages as he’s massive so his feet touch the floor 😂

My eldest was 2.5 when my youngest was born and I just got a buggy board, for all the time she’d be spending in a pram it wasn’t worth getting a double for us. She didn’t even use the buggy board most of the time, just walked alongside the pram

I think the general consensus is a buggy board! Thanks all! The bottom of the pram is pretty big too so worst case she could sit in there! She doesn’t like the buggy but also only walks so far before wanting picked up! 🥴

Definitely a buggy board. I had the same gap. You can also put baby in a baby carrier if the toddler wants to sit in the main buggy but for a rest/nap!

We didn’t even think of this when we got the buggy for our first and it isn’t compatible with a buggy board so now getting a Bugaboo Dragonfly instead… and a buggy board

@Danielle lascal do universal buggy boards so you can check their website as to whether they will work with your buggy. https://support.lascal.net/en/support/solutions/articles/103000110036-will-the-buggyboard-fit-my-stroller-pram-buggy- They do fit on buggies that say they're not compatible with buggy boards - it's just cos they don't make them specifically for that buggy. Also to anyone else, you can often get a universal lascal buggy board on Facebook marketplace in very good condition if you're put off by the high prices for brand new!

@Jess thanks for this. Unfortunately they don’t (mamas and papas Airo) but was worth a try x
