Have the drink! You deserve it! Alcohol only enters your milk through the bloodstream if you were currently under the influence. You do not have to pump and dump. Alcohol cycles through the blood, your milk is made from your blood. As long as there is an alcohol in your blood no alcohol will be in your milk

You basically have to give yourself alcohol poisoning for any significant amount of alcohol to transfer to your milk! You’re absolutely fine to have a drink!

Have the drink girl!! I would pump right before you go to dinner and then just make sure to wait 2-3 hours before pumping again, after you finish a drink. 🙂 It’s recommended to wait at least that long and then it is completely safe.

The amount of alcohol in your milk is the same as what’s in your blood, which is obviously far less than what’s in your drink. Even if you drank so much that you were blacking out, the amount of alcohol in your milk would be similar to what’s in orange juice. I really don’t worry about it, especially if I’m only going to have one drink. I’ve actually found that some beer has helped milk production! If you’re really worried about it, you can always pump afterward and use the milk for a bath!

Yeah I would just wait 2-3 hours after the drink to pump and give your baby the milk. It also depends on the amount of alcohol you consume.

Have the drink . Im breastfeeding and pumping and went out to dinner with hubby and had a drink and it was nice ..

@Aly beer has yeast that’s good for milk supply

If you can find baby you can feed baby. Not something you need to worry about. There are alcohol test strips if it’s causing you anxiety!

Have the drink! Have a few! It’s totally safe!
