Milk coming in
My milk has come in I’m 4 days pp
One breast has a bit of a swollen lump just down under my arm pit.
Any one else had this, do I need to go to the doctors?
How long till the milk dries up ?
Obviously all sorts running through my mind at the moment

If breastfeeding then while baby feeds massage the lump to help the milk disperse. I'm also not sure what to do if you aren't feeding so recommend speaking to your community midwife. X
I’m not breastfeeding, when mine came in it was agony for about 4 days. If you want to stop it producing then wear a tight bra, apply cold ice packs as often as you can and also cabbage leaves! Mine fully dried up after the 4 days x

Are you breast feeding or wanting to stop the milk production? If breast feeding I would get your baby to have a good feed on the boob or pump the boob until empty. If wanting to not breast feed or stimulate milk production I’d maybe call doctor or feeding support team to ask for advice as I’m not sure what’s best. When I stopped feeding my first the doctor recommended I lay in a warm bath and let me boobs leak rather than expressing to stop increasing production but I didn’t have a lump at this time
