2 weeks for us🤦🏻♀️ we were fine, but I wouldn't recommend, as you can get an infection technically 😅
6 weeks as recommended because I definitely didn't want to get an infection, even though I wanted to at like 5 days postpartum. There is a dinner plate sized wound in your uterus after birth that can get infected.
6 weeks and trust them when they say you are SUPER fertile after birth
6 weeks x
6 weeks is the safest. It didn't feel good until almost 8 months pp. I had really bad hip issues pp and was in physio.
We waited 6 weeks, I honestly wasn't upto it until then lol
The NHS advise there is no minimum amount of time you need to wait. So advice on this varies depending on country
Personally my partner and I made it 5 weeks but oh my the pain of the first time! Scared me to do it again! Took me over 2 weeks to feel ready again! And I only had 2 internal stitches and a graze
6w. He was also warned by the midwife. He had an alert on his phone “wifey is now 6w after birth” lol. He wouldn’t touch me down there even if I begged for it
6 weeks to prevent infection. I'm sure your practitioner informed you of the risks so you do it at your own discretion.
