You are doing amazing! Remember you are only on day 3, give it time! I felt I didnāt eat a lot after my section, it was a struggle to eat 3 meals, I just made sure I ate little and often to keep my energy up x
I was in a bit of shock at how my body was post section but I'm 7 weeks pp now and I can move freely without pain and started some pilates to help with my core. I feel like myself again (minus the weight I gained). You'll get there in no time just take the time you need to rest and recover
The fist few weeks are brutal i used to cry and think im never going to be better but i promise it will get easier! I am doing it again in a few weeks ! I also didnt want to eat much litle and often x
Keep going with the pain relief, even if you feel better! I thought I was fine after a week, boy was I wrong š youāre doing an amazing job after having major surgery, I promise itāll get easier ā¤ļø
You are doing fine, if it helps you feel better. Day 5 for me I was pretty much pain free and stopped all pain meds. By day 10-14 I felt back to ānormalā you have time yet but itāll go soo quick. Also yes my appetite decreased a lot after the baby.
Youāre doing so well! You will be out of the hardest part so soon, just keep resting and remember youāre not supposed to be doing anything. Xx
Just commenting to say youāre not alone, Iām in the exact same position and from these comments it looks like weāll be okayš¤š»
Honestly in the next week or so youāll be feeling so much better I didnāt have much time to even think about my pain my baby was in neonatal and I had been discharged so I was constantly going to and from the hospital which I think really helped i didnāt even think about anything else but making sure my baby was ok but he came home after 4 days and thatās when I realised what my body had gone through and I was mentally and physically drained but by the following week I was pretty much back to doing things as normal just the bending down and get up from sitting was a bit awkward not painful I was just very aware that I had had surgery and now 4 months on seems like a distant memory your doing better than you think you are just take it slow and do something tomorrow you havenāt done today one step at a time

You are doing incredibly well! Not only are you recovering from a major surgery but also looking after a tiny human. Be kind to yourself, mama! Give your mind and body time to adjust. It took me a month or so to start feeling more robust. Everyone is different though - take things at your own pace. Iām so pleased you have a supportive partner š„° My appetite was less for a week or so after the surgery. Then something changed and I couldnāt stop eating š¤£ Well done! Rest when you can, enjoy your baby, accept the help thatās offered to you and congratulate your amazing body for growing such a fabby little human!
