Pelvic floor … or lack of

So this is embarrassing, I’m about 6/7 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. My son is 4. I suffer with severe sickness and when I’m sick I wet myself. (Luckily I’m on anti sickness now) But I’m guessing my pelvic floor is non existent. Anyone help me out here ? I have the Squeezy app which I need to get back using. Is 10 slow & 10 quick 3 times a day enough? Is there anything else I can do? Obviously I’m worried as it’s only going to get worse now I’m pregnant.

Pelvic floor physio can assess and recommend exercises and frequency based on your unique needs!

Don't be embarrassed! Used to happen to me too. My baby is 6 months now and I still pee a little when I sneeze or cough or wait too long to go to the bathroom

Dont be embarrassed! Unfortunately our health system has really failed us with that. And it’s so normalized (and common) to hear about women peeing when coughing or sneezing etc. Personally I live by Kegels and do them all the time. If youre on TikTok follow @womenshealthwithheidi she does some great exercises

I have issues post baby 2 but it's more with the bum end, can be hard to go. I have these weights called secret whispers but best to see pelvic physio to get right thing for you x

Glow body Pt on YouTube has a workout for pelvic floor. Check it out.

That should be enough in terms of amounts of the exercises but it takes at least 6 weeks to make a difference and your body will be changing again because of being pregnant so try not to worry if you don't get instant results.

Thanks for your lovely comments everyone xx
