Miscarriage..

Hey ladies! I had a miscarriage on Christmas and ever since my miscarriage everytime I need to pee or poop I hurt so bad. It's like a sharp pain. My first appointment after my miscarriage with my obgyn it was just to make sure I wasn't pregnant anymore and then I had a pap. I brought up the pain during my pap appointment and my doctor said it'll go away once I had a period. I had my first period after the miscarriage on Jan 27th. And I'm still hurting whenever I need to pee or poop. Is this like normal or should I follow up with my doctor?
