I was on it for my BP and had to be taken off of it as I developed Raynauds Phenomenon of the Nipple and suffered with extreme fatigue. They tried to lower my dosage at first but that didn’t work, I am now on different medication and it’s much better! No pain, no fatigue, no headaches etc. Deffo mention your concerns and they’ll review it x
Definitely recommend speak to your midwife/triage, I’m on labetalol for high bp and those symptoms were ones they said to get in touch if they arise. Hope you feel better soon 🤞🏻 x
I’ve been out on 2 tablets 2 times a day and am feeling sick don’t even thinking of it being a side effect I’m also struggling to sleep x
I'm on 400mg x3 a day and I've had the dizziness on and off throughout my pregnancy but have been unsure if it's the labetalol or not tbh. The lightheaded feeling is super irritating when youre trying to do something/ need to work etc.. I've sometimes had nausea/ sickness when taking it, I have to make sure I take it at a similar time each day and with food/ a snack and I've noticed that this helpd. If I ever accidentally miss a dose then the side effects are bad. I'd see how you go on it because it probably takes a while for your body to adjust to it (I know it did for me and that first couple or weeks I felt horrendous). If the side effect continue tho then I'd contact your consultant/ midwife about it.
I took it during my previous pregnancy with no side effects so I'd definitely give them a call and let them know. Are your BP readings normal? X
