6 month old miserable

Please tell me I’m not alone… we’ve maybe had 3 weeks of my little girl’s life where she’s been remotely ‘content’. She’s 6 months on Monday and she doesn’t stop whinging, crying or screaming. I’m exhausted and don’t know how to cope anymore. It’s making me so unbelievably depressed I don’t know how to keep going. I want my old life back. I spend all day trying to keep her entertained, giving her different stimulation, taking her out for walks. Nothing is good enough, she doesn’t go longer than 5 minutes without being upset again 😞

Did you consider her having medical issue? Our LG was crying and whining all day long since 6 weeks old, turned out she was dairy intolerant so the formula was hurting her

@Tereza did she have other symptoms other than crying and whining? My LG has no symptoms of CMPA other than being miserable which isn’t a symptom. And the fact she had a period of around 3 weeks where she was pretty content wouldn’t have happened either I don’t think.

Doctor details check. Good pediatrician. Or go to emergency and explain in detail. Structured timinig is so importantnfor babies. Is this happening right after a feed ? Is it right after waking up ? Is she being burped enough ? Tummy time helps at all ? Raise her head when sleeping ? Put on side? Overtired babies can be more fussy without them understanding it. Try hanging carrier , how does she respond then ? Hands free carrying is what babies are looking for at times too. Hip carrier helps a lot as well. Is she following a sleep schedule?

Nope, no rush, explosive poo nothing. Just crying all day long, not settling at all. Even on us she would cry or whine, always looked like she was uncomfortable or in pain. You can speak to your HV or if you feel like she is suffering you can take her to GP right away but I know from experience some GP don't do any checks unless they are advised by HV

I'd say that's a symptom even if it's the only one. I'd definitely recommend getting her checked incase she's ill. It could be an easy fix and make both of your lives easier.
