Bf on demand

Anyone else still breastfeeding on demand. My LO really cut down feeds but the last 2 weeks or so hes been constantly wanting milk and throughout the night with so many wake ups. Not sure if this is normal or not 😭

My little boy had stopped feeding in the day now, maybe once at lunch time but that’s it and I noticed a slight increase through the night for a few days but it’s back to normal now. Not sure if he was just adjusting or what but it’s all normal again now 😂I just let him take the lead and that’s how it’s ended up xx

Exactly the same here! We've gone from feeding before/after naps and once or twice in the night to her now running up at any point in the day and lifting my top to headbutt my boob 😅I think it might be a teething thing but either way just trying to ride it out!

Yep my girl did this for about a month. She wasn’t interested in food just milk. She got 3 molars and has now gone back to eating and bf has calmed down xx

@Kate this is exactly us!! Just before naps and a couple times in the night now it’s every 5 mins lifting my top up😩😭

@Michelle think my sons molars are coming through atm so is probably why as well! 🙃

We have reduced to feeding before nap and bed and once upon waking from the night in the morning. She has been asking for boob for few days by pointing to a cow in her book and at the udders, when I say 'cow booby' she runs over and pats mine and asks for it. I try to distract her during the day when she asks with a snack or a drink of water or a glass of cow milk but on few occasions I couldn't say no to that cute way of her asking, so I caved and fed during the day. Only today I realized, her canines look like they're about to erupt soon, so she's probably feeling crappy. Definitely more night time feeds when I started to reduce day time feeds. Hoping it reduces a bit more at night when she's got past the teething pain.

We are attached almost all night. These bloody teeth! Be glad when teething is over!
