combo feeding

for those who combo feed how do you do it? boob and bottle, 2 separate bottles or 1 bottle half formula-half boob milk?

My doctor told me she did separate bottles. My friend did a bottle of breastmilk (whatever she had available) and then would make another 2oz of formula if her baby was still hungry. I personally mix mine. I did this since I hate waiting for a bottle warmer lol. I would make formula with very warm water and then add in my refrigerated breast milk and the bottle is ready to go right away 👌

I breast feed and pump and do only breast milk if that’s an option.

We fortify breastmilk bottles.. a lot to learn lol. NICU told us to put a scoop of formula in with each bottle of breastmilk we give her to get her extra calories.
