16 months old routine?!

so i feel like my daughter has no routine/ a chaotic one. so i’m trying to work out a routine we can test out and stick to! does this seem okay for a 16 month old? i would love to hear some of your routines with similar age children. (i work mondays, wednesdays and thursdays so this routine would ideally be for the days we are at home and have no plans)

I wish I was the organised, my sons mood determines the day we have haha x

I have no such routine 😂 everyday is different, both of our moods are different/different energy levels for the day, weather. No way I could stick to a rigid schedule like this 😥

This looks like my idea of hell 😂 but that’s because I hate routine and I’m awful at it. But I think if it works for you then it’s great! Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, do what works for you!

@Carla literally same my daughter is sometimes like this so it is really hard to know what her routine gonna be like lol but the joys of kids xx 😄😂

I am like Lucy, this looks like my idea of hell but if it works for you then go for it 😂. Our “routine” is: 7ish wake up, get dressed, let the dogs out, breakfast for everyone 11:30ish lunch 12/12:30ish nap (2ish hours) 4:30ish dinner 6:30 bath, book, milk and in bed for 7. Whilst she is awake we never do anything structured as such, we play in the house or play in the garden, she will happily play by herself or play with me/the dogs, we do messy play or she plays with toys or we read, it just isn’t structured (she also doesn’t sit still long enough to watch tv so she doesn’t watch tv 😂). We also walk the dogs (at least an hour and a half) at some point as well. House jobs get done whilst she is asleep because I want her awake time to be spent doing stuff with me but she does help me cook dinner/make lunch or breakfast. All I will say is do whatever works for you and your lo!
