Hi,
My lo is on aptimal pepti 1 and I find her reflux is worse due to the consistency of the milk? Whats everyone thoughts on carobel? Does it cause other problems? I’m in two minds to try it? My little one is also on omeprazole. What size teats do people use when adding carobel?

It’s worked reallly well for my little girl Fixed her reflux! She has two scoops in 6 oz. No constipation. I use size 3 teats.
We’ve just stopped using it due to constipation. You try to fix one problem and cause another 😩🤦🏼♀️. Every baby is different though! Yours might respond better to it x

Carobel has been a lifesaver for my baby for the past 2 months combined with omeprazole and she hasn’t had any constipation at all (and I use size 2 teats) x
My eldest was on carobel for the first two weeks she had constipation but after that she was back to normal with no sick it was amazing for us and she was throwing up who bottles.

Carobel can cause constipation of u make milk really thick. My baby also on Omeprazole and carobel, he won't take more then 1 scoop in his bottle so not sure how much it's actually doing to help. The instructions and figuring out how much to use is so unbelievably complicated and everyone uses different measurements it's so much trail and error so be prepared for the headache of trying to figure put how thick u van make it so that ur baby will drink it. A lot of ppl have said do half of what they drink so if they have 6oz bottle do 3 scoops of carobel. But if u do try it start of half a scoop then 1 scoop then 2 scoops and just go up until u find an balance ur baby still likes x
