Speech

Are your babies talking already? My 14 months old used to say over 15-20 words from 10-12 months, now I feel like she has ‘developed’ her own speech/ babble, and not saying real words anymore except for mama, papa and water.. she’s understands most things we say to her though. Has this happened to anyone?

My 14 month old hasn’t officially said his first word yet, but he definitely understands them! He likes to yell, babble and hear his voice.

Mine just says mama and dada. I think she tries to say dog as well but it just sounds like da -easy to confuse with dada. She does understand more as she can point out some of her body parts

Bye and mama. He knows bye but not too sure about mama if he has connected it to me yet. Other than that he babbles a little when he is not crying which seems like a lot these days

My daughter has said mama, dada, thank you (not often), I love you (twice), no, bye bye. And her favorite is hi or hey.
