Suddenly co sleeping please help

I never wanted to co sleep but since my son turned 5 months the sleep has been IMPOSSIBLE (some say teething but he’s now nearly 9 months and we still had multiple wakes a night) If we co sleep, he sleeps like a LOG. Anyone else in the same boat? And anyone else got stories where they co slept and then were able to transition to own bed? For some reason he is able to fall asleep and take daytime naps in his cot by himself no problem. But staying asleep overnight is next to impossible and I am exhausted!!!!

We've been cosleeping since about 6 months because when we had to drop the crib down when he could pull himself up he wouldn't settle! He's 9.5 months now and tbh I still don't even have the energy to think about trying to get him in a crib again

Yes we’ve had to start co sleeping for this exact reason and it’s getting earlier and earlier each night now but it’s the only way I can get any sleep. I love the cuddles and closeness but I didn’t intend to cosleep and don’t want to do it all the time permanently but I’m doing it more and more as after being awake for so long at night I just have to sleep . He goes off to sleep in crib alone fine and for his naps but from 1am onwards it’s a nightmare

@Lauren Could’ve written this myself! How old is your LO? We are approaching 9 months

We’ve been cosleeping too and I said I would never do it. But I needed sleep! He’s now nearly 9 months and we have successfully done 2 nights in his own cot. You’ll get there xxx

Almost 6 months but 4.5 corrected as he was early so never really know when regressions will be!!

Have a 3 year old we had awful sleep up to a bout 1 just didn't really think about co sleeping so went along with the hourly wakes ended up co sleeping at 14 months, she did then sleep through the night in her own cot around 20 months for a bit then went back to co sleeping for another few months moved her to a double bed then and she slept through herself mostly for months currently now sometimes we co sleep sometimes we don't but it does get easier and honestly feel I now know when everything is fine with her she sleeps alone we are just there for when she needs us
