My stepson is allowed to have cartoons ONLY if he gets up quietly and doesn't wake his brother because he insisted on sharing a room again
@Hollie I'm not a heavy sleeper so i wake up to every noise! They share a room, the LO would not go to sleep if she we're to stay in our room. I just don't understand hin. Our living room has all sheer curtains so it's pretty bright without a light. I did that FOR HIM.
@Peytra we tried this. He isn't allowed youtube cause he watches inappropriate videos but what was he always sneaking and watching. Yep you guessed it. We took youtube off the TV's, he redownload ed it, put a code on the TV which was very annoying and he learned the code. He now has to read a book in the morning when he wakes up cause 1 he can't ve trusted and 2 no one wake up that early. The remotes are hoarded into our bedroom.
Ha! My stepson does this, too. Not to be a jerk, but because he's legit terrified of everything. I have removed all extra lightbulbs from our hallway and hall bathroom, and each fixture has only one 25 watt bulb. 💡 They burn out quicker, but it is worth it to not have everyone awake before the actual sun.
Omg that would be so annoying! Can you get night lights?
@Haley 💚 the number of night lights he has in that room will make you think the big light is on. 2 Galaxy night lights, sonic night light. He has no reason to leave the room as there is a bathroom in the room and a light switch on the outside of the bathroom but I have a motion night light in the hallway and a colored lamp on in the living room. Like. Literally every inch of the house is lit by something for him. Even though he should be sleep! Not walking around the darn house
Can you do something like a hatch sound machine or even an alarm clock that goes off when it’s time to get up. Teach him to stay in bed and read or play until the alarm goes off at 8.
He sounds like a little shit 😂😂 do you hear him wake up before he actually gets up? Is LO in your bedroom still? I would TRY get up just before him, and turn on the necessary lights. At 7 they’re old enough to understand that it’s unacceptable to be purposely waking up their younger siblings and I would start disciplining that type of behaviour
