I’m going to try swallow water with a mat next bath time as I hate how squished my 9 month old boy’s bits look in the seat similar to yours. Also, he has chunky legs and it’s a pain getting him in and out especially as he’s a wriggler and kicks when trying to put him in x
Of course personal preference but I’d say don’t bother with a seat now, a non slip mat and a shallow bath is fine for my nearly 9 month old have been doing like this since he’s been sitting (as won’t sit still in any seats!) He splashes around, rolls over and enjoys the freedom of the bath, and quickly learnt to not throw himself backwards etc I was soo anxious at first but have confidence! X
@Charlie he can but he occasionally throws himself backwards, randomly!! Can’t be trusted at all even being supervised 🙈
@Katie well I just checked and my seat is only suitable for up to 24 lbs and seen as my boy is just over that weight then I’m guessing that’s when he looks all squished in it! 🙈 he also has giant thighs….🥰
@Liz think I may grey that way. He does throw himself back randomly but does sit up strongly otherwise 😆
@Holly yeah I probably should have checked the weight limit before I started having to wriggle his poor thighs out of it 😂 we did a shallow bath last night and he was ok just a bit unsure at first I think cause he’s used to the seat x
Can he sit by himself? Because I have just stopped using the shnuggle and just now run a shallow bath for him with a non slip mat
