Nappy changes

My LB goes nuts during nappy changes. Usually cries and tries to roll over.. it’s been 10 months I thought he would understand nappy change time now? Is this normal at this age? Anyone have any tips? I usually do try to give him something in his hands, doesn’t always work. Eventually I want him to understand nappy change and cooperate 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

My LB is the same! I wanna say he getting worse now, I now have to change his nappy while standing up! 🫣

Normal i try wear her out by chasing her about first but yeh welcome to changing a crocodile

My lo still does this too. She hasn't got the memo

Sorry no advice i just usually give things for her to hold and place her on her changing mat. Tell her it's nappy change time and she just knows so will stay on the mat for me but the minute we are down she's rolling all over the place. I guess maybe communicating throughout it ? My HV said that helps too.

I think they just have to go through these phases.

Almost 13 month old and forever chasing my nappyless LO round the room because he decides that midway through nappy change is the time to crawl off to explore!
