Gasping for air in middle of night??

I’m going to be calling the GP on Monday but just wanting to see if anyone has had a similar experience or anything… My little girl has done this three times this week now, never before…😣 she has started to cough and almost sound like she’s choking or gasping for air kind of. Like I said she’s never done it before but it scares the absolute life out of me 😭 she does it for no more than 3-5 seconds and then goes straight back to sleep but still 😢😢
