Hate baths!

My first born was like that when he was ready for an upright bath seat! Is she already in one? :)

Try covering her with large burp cloth when putting her inside the water, sometimes they hate being exposed. Paci with it helps too and calming music. Water thermometer is a game changer too

When my daughter was born she hated baths and the only thing that worked for us was me bathing with her but recently I tried doing it in the dark with just a candle lit. She LOVES it! She will sit forever in there and just chill. No toys. No bubbles. Just me pouring warm water on her over and over again. It’s so calming.

So this was happening to us throughout until we did research and discovered that the height of the water & temp was a key factor. AFTER that we didn’t get fusy baths . Keep the water at 98-99 and water shoulder level. Hope it helps🫶🏽🤍

It's really kid dependent and figuring out why exactly they hate the bath. It's not baths in general, there's just one specific thing they don't like. For example...mine hates our bathtub (I think it might be to dark), still figuring it out. He had no problems on the kitchen counter in the baby bath. But when I decided it was time to use the upright bath seat in the tub all hell broke loose. We have been trying to figure things out since. We know-its not water temp, it's not the bath seat. I tried his baby tub in the bathtub and that was a no go, so it's something about the big tub itself. He is also fine in the pool and in the showers at the pool. We are going to try a shower at home next. Everything is trial and error. Be a scientist and change one thing and see if that makes a difference. So what has changed from when he liked baths to now? Did you change locations entirely, different place for him to sit. Did something happen /slip partly under the water, get splashed in the face?
