Sometimes I get so angry at my husband for being inconsiderate because I’m touched out.

Not looking for advice. Some solidarity and hugs would be nice 😭

🫶🏻 Girl I'm right there with you

I get you 💗 We’re wired differently.

It’s normal to feel touched out . It’s overwhelming

I understand you x Men just don’t feel what we feel

OMG, me too. I was playing with my son tonight, and he was laughing like the maniac he is, and I was loving it, but then I was tired and touched out because he has been go go go today and only slept for 20 minutes this afternoon. I tried to get him to interact with my partner, but he wanted me. I played a little bit more, then stopped, he just went crazy, running around the living room, started throwing things, threw a cup at my partner, and I told him that wasn't nice. He calmed down for a minute, and when I was distracted by the TV, he grabbed the cup that was with my partner and threw it again. Partner did nothing as he was on his phone, I got cranky and kinda slammed the cup down between my partners leg and the couch. He took our son to bed not long after but didn't want to. Not a minute later, our son came walking out and asked for a high five. I obliged, and he walked back towards the bedroom. I heard him in the dining room, so I turned everything off in the living room, picked him up....

Went into the bedroom, and my partner was wide awake and on his phone. I glared at him. He said, "I told you he wouldn't settle." I was like, "He might if you tried." He got annoyed at me for that. I reiterated that it would help if the light was off and if maybe he snuggled him. It might not. It was very annoying. I wasn't in a good mood by that point. I was touched out because aside from my kid being 3, he has taken to touching my books all the time, jiggling them and saying, "Mummy's boobies." It's funny but also a lot, and after like the 3rd time, I'm done, and he needs to stop. Anyway, all that to say you are not alone. Solidarity girl! I'm right there with you!

Yep, me. And he thought I was making up the phrase touched out until I googled it for him. Unfortunately, he is my person, the one I am closest too and most honest with, so he gets the brunt of it
