I've had 3 fairly positive Birth experiences there. They tend to be slow moving you to the ward after you have baby but other than that they're alright. The nurses were very lovely when I had my daughter 17 months ago x

Yes, in April overall was really positive the midwives are lovely feel free to message me. I ended up on labour ward and having emergency c section so didn't experience the birth centee
I’ve also had 2 positive birth experiences there in the last 18months. I too was skeptical about giving birth there due to the things I heard but both times I couldn’t fault them!
Yes in January, at the birth centre, the midwives were great, especially one called Alieta I think. But it was the first birth of the year, and they weren't busy, so maybe depends on this as well. My first was born in Lewisham birth centre and I really preferred my experience at Queens. I could do whatever I wanted to go through the pain, the midwives gave me choices and the freedom to scream, move , and change position as much as I wanted (unmedicated). They gave suggestions but never force anything. Don't hesitate to message me if you have questions
I did 1 year ago, the Labour ward is good but the birthing centre was awful, very restrictive, there were 2 nurses, one very rude and one clueless training. They started shouting at me bcs I entered in the pool, despite being told to enter the pool in the first place, from there was down the hill.

Yes! In December. An amazing experience, in their birthing centre. Would highly recommend their birthing centre, and they do tours there too (ask your midwife for info). Happy to answer any more q’s ☺️
