Anytime as long as it is there ready for your baby's first night home. You would then have them in your room for the first 6 months to help reduce SIDs risk.

@Louise I’m only 19 and 2 days pregnant just wanted to see when people put them in there rooms ready for baby ccc

I think towards the end of the third trimester :) when you start feeling like you want to nest :) so a few weeks before due date but this is my first so no experience that’s just what I am thinking :)

@Chloe it probably more depends on the space you have. I'm 22 weeks and the next to me will be donated from a friend. Once I pick it up I'll probably keep it in another room until the week or so before when I start setting up things (final bit of nesting), I have already bought the sheets and mattress for it.

With my son with had it built up ready in his room and when we came home my other half moved it into the bedroom ready for nighttime x
