I agree with @GMF ! It comes down to your budget & interest. I knew I wanted a travel system & I personally couldn’t fathom spending an arm & leg for a carseat & stroller so nuna & uppababy were out of the question for me whereas my bestfriend didn’t mind & got the nuna.
I recived a babytrend ally 35 infant seat for my first and really loved it because you can easily remove it from the base in your car for shopping trips and outings. I got the folding stroller add-on too as a travel stroller. The down side is that it will only last the first year or so, less if you have a big baby.
I got the joie travel system cuz it looked like a nice price point for some luxury features.

I have 2 kids so the Graco slim fits are really nice to have optimal space in the backseat! ♥️ The new baby will be in the infant car seat for a little bit just for convenience of having the carrier, but in a few months I’ll move him into the slim fit!
I think any of the rotating seats are a game changer I would never go back to a regular seat. We have the evenflo and Chico one but they’re all roughly the same
They all pass the same safety tests so it’s more down to your budget and your specific car and set up (like if you have other kids in car seats or who needs to ride in the back). We have a chicco infant seat and graco convertible seats and have been happy with both.
