Is anyone else struggling with their kid’s behaviour atm, she’s struggling at nursery and is just having a really bad time I already feel like I’m failing her for not understanding het better of the way she behaves I honestly don’t know how much more I can take! She’s constantly hitting out at everyone and I am honestly so fed up biting throwing, hitting 😭😭 is this normal behaviour for her age as she will be soon 4 😢

We have a lot of misbehaviour as well. I read a post today about responding to the need and not the behaviour which I'm not very good at doing. Then it all escalates quickly 😅 Do you know why your little one is acting out?

Sorry, you're going through this. It is normal behaviour for her age, my boy was like this but has now settled. What worked for us was speaking about emotions and finding the triggers to the behaviour. Also doing breathing exercises when she's getting frustrated can help. Speak to the nursery, maybe she's bored and needs challenges to keep her stimulated. I found with my boy, when he's bored he tends to act out. Nursery helped with that and moved him up to preschool at 2 years. And he flourished. Now nit to say he's done a 360 but the hitting, biting and scratching has stopped. What were battling now is defiance and pushing boundaries every day. It's hard, sometimes I even cry cause I feel like a failure but just remember they won't be like this forever and keep being firm in discipline. Sending hugs

My son is an angel at nursery only had one mishap of biting first ever time he's been nursery since 10 months. But at home he's a bit handful suddenly having tantrums not wanting to go out. Everyone keeps says it's because he now has to share the attention with his sister but he gets the most attention I feel x
